Dangerous chemicals are found in many skincare and hygiene products. 13% of the 82,000 ingredients allowed in skincare products are industrial chemicals including carcinogens, pesticides, reproductive toxins and hormone disruptors.

- Aluminum. Used to control sweat. Often found in antiperspirants and cosmetics as pigments and thickening agents

- Neurotoxic and has been linked to breast cancer and alzheimer’s disease

- Parabens: Preservative preventing bacteria and mold in skincare products
- Mimic estrogen and therefore can increase change of breast cancer
- Have been found in breast cancer biopsy
- Look for paraben free

- Associated with allergies, dermatitis, respiratory distress and reproductive toxicity
- Can be found in soaps, shampoos, moisturizers and body washes
- Unless the product actually lists that the fragrance is from essential oils or you look further into the company, please avoid
